Logo Basics

The logo is an integral part of the corporate design and must therefore be used on all communication media.

The Wacker Neuson Group logo consists of two components:
figurative mark word mark

Important:
The single components of the logo form a unit and must not be separated from one another, rotated to one another, disproportionately changed or croped.

One exception: the figurative mark may be used as design element – see guide lines under exceptions.

Mimimum size

The mimimum size of the logo is 30 mm (1.18 inch).

Protected area

Purpose of the protected area around the logo is a clean, undisturbed branding.

No competing elements may be placed within the protected area.

The protected area is an esential part of the logo and it is scaled in relation to the size of the logo. The minimum size of the protection area is 1/3 of the figurative mark.

Placement on backgrounds

The logo should always be easily perceptible. To ensure this, the contrast degree to the background must be strong enough and therefore requires consideration. The Wacker Neuson Group logo should preferably be placed on a ground of white, light grey (max. 30% black) or one of the two lighter gradations of petrol.

Colors of the logo

These are the defined colors of the logo. The colors must not be altered.

Exceptions

Figurative mark

In principle, the logo should always be shown entirely, but there is the option to use the figurative mark as a design element. Still, the entire logo must to be show completely on the same medium. Especially on design elements that can be seen from the distance, the use of the figurative mark can be very effective.

The use of the figurative mark is reserved for exceptions:

  • when the mimimum size of the logo of 30 mm (1.18 inch) can not be fulfilled due to the size of the medium
  • for cross-brand communication (e.g. merchandise items)

Inclination of the figurative mark:

  • 26° counterclockwise
  • the vertical lines of the "N" are straight upwards

Cropping the figurative mark:

The figurative mark may be croped on two sides. But: the „W“ must always remain legible!

In relation to a 100 % width, a maximum of 15 % from the left, bottom or top side, and a maximum of 30 % from the right side
