Product packaging basics
Especially in the light equipment sector, products are packed ex factory in special carton boxes for delivery. This branding is used for product packaging. Product packaging differs from spare parts packaging in that product packaging communicates the brand of the product only and in spare parts branding all Wacker Neuson Group brands are represented, see spare parts branding.

- The proportion between word mark and figurative mark remains untouched.
- The standard basic color of the carton boxes is brown and the print of the branding is monochrome gray.
Positioning
- The longer side of the carton is always used as the basis for calculation and thus as the front side.
- In the vertical plane, the front side of the carton (height = H) is divided by three, the middle third gives the horizontal placement area.
- In the horizontal, the front side of the carton (width = B) is divided by five, the middle 3/5 gives the vertical placement area.

- The intersection points result in the positioning area for the logo.
- The word mark of the logo is positioned within the calculated area and reduced or enlarged until it borders one of the protection zone edges of the placement area.
- The smallest possible placement must be selected.
- The logo is placed in the center of the placement area.

- The figurative mark is placed in the center of the side panel in the correct size ratio to the word mark.

Special characters
- The height of the special character (Hsz) is 10 percent of the height of the carton.
- The special character is positioned at the top left of the page section.
- The distance to the edges is half the height of the special character (1/2 Hsz).

Colors
- The printing is usually done in grey.
- Wacker Neuson's standard colors are used for elaborately designed packaging.
