EDI Support
The central eSupply team coordinates all EDI processes at the Wacker Neuson Group. Please contact:
EDI replaces manual order processing with standardized electronic processes. All procurement documents from our ERP system are converted to a defined message format. This data is then sent automatically to your system via a mutually defined communication channel. This means that once the technical details have been defined (see specifications), suppliers with their own EDI infrastructure can communicate directly with Wacker Neuson.
Suppliers who do not have their own infrastructure can use our online eSupply platform (WebEDI), giving our partners the same functionality without them having to invest in IT infrastructure.
Registered WebEDI users can look forward to the following benefits in their day-to-day business dealings with Wacker Neuson:
- Free use of all services.
- No investment or IT infrastructure required (all you need is Internet access).
- End-to-end process flow with uniform data (e.g. order -> order confirmation -> delivery note -> label -> invoice).
- Easy interaction and collaboration with minimal keying in of data.
- Transparent overview of all procurement transactions with all Wacker Neuson companies in a single system.
- Ability to print out standardized material tags/labels.
- Push notifications for new messages.
- EDI data displayed in your online browser and as a PDF.
- Option of printing or downloading data as a text file or PDF.
- Access management with deputization rules.
- Help from Wacker Neuson support team.
By registering for WebEDI, you accept the following terms and conditions of use.
Our procurement and supply processes are largely based on established automotive standards defined by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
However, our system can also process messages formatted according to the UN EDIFACT standard and the US ANSI X12 standard. See Messages below for a list of the business processes enabled and supported by our EDI and WebEDI systems.
To ensure a seamless digital process flow right up to the point of delivery – without having to transition from one medium to another, all goods must be correctly and completely documented using standardized labels according to VDA 4902 or Odette Transport Labels (OTL). You can create these using your own technology or our handy platform if you are a registered WebEDI user.
Wacker Neuson supports the following EDI messages and corresponding processes:
