The Wacker Neuson Group is an international network of companies, employing around 6,000 people worldwide. The Group’s headquarters is based in Munich. With production sites in Germany, Austria, Spain, the US, China and Serbia, we are always close to our customers – in every sense of the word. Customers can quickly and easily reach out to their trusted contact partner – with sales offices and dealers all over the world, we are never far away.
Regions
Segment reporting in the Wacker Neuson Group is divided into the regions EMEA (including Turkey, Russia, Africa and the Middle East), the Americas and Asia-Pacific. These geographical segments form the basis for corporate governance.
EMEA
As the Wacker Neuson Group has its roots in Europe, the EMEA region is its home market. With 20 or so country-specific sales and service stations in the EMEA region along with five development and production sites in Germany, Austria and Spain, we stay close to the market, aligning our development efforts with real-world needs and giving our customers the assurance of a competent, reliable partner.
Americas
The Wacker Neuson brand has been a success story in North America since the 1950s – so much so that rammers are often generically referred to as “Wacker packers”. Today, our customers across the entire Americas region are served by a dense network of dealers based in North and South America, offering Wacker Neuson’s broad portfolio of products and services.
One of our development and production sites is also located in the US. At Menomonee Falls, a number of products including skid steer loaders, rollers and light towers are developed and manufactured in line with the specific requirements of customers in the region.
Asia-Pacific
Similarly, we have a long-standing presence in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2018, we also established our own development and production site in Pinghu, China, which caters specifically to the requirements of the Asia-Pacific geography. This regional presence allows us to offer a wide portfolio of products tailored to the specific needs of local markets such as China, South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand in particular.
Gasoline breakers for rail track construction are particularly successful in China, as are our concrete technology products in India.
8 production sites
The Wacker Neuson Group develops and manufactures construction equipment, compact machines and components at eight locations in North America, Europe and Asia. Specialised centres of excellence ensure the highest quality standards across all product areas.
With production sites in Germany, Austria, Spain, the USA, China and Serbia, our products are manufactured in close proximity to our customers. All central functions – from development and purchasing to product management, production, quality assurance and administration – operate across all locations according to uniform processes and standards.
