The EquipCare telematics solution from Wacker Neuson makes it possible to keep an eye on the entire fleet of machines at all times. The solution has been in use at a construction equipment rental company in Poland for some time now and shows that EquipCare improves fleet management and flexibility and ensures smooth collaboration between the rental company and its customers.

The telematics solution enables transparent management of the entire fleet. A telematics module is installed in the compact equipment, which, based on the information obtained, alerts the driver to upcoming maintenance, for example, also via push message to the cell phone if desired. This means, for example, that it is immediately apparent when the machines need to be serviced. Appointments can be scheduled early and longer downtimes can be minimized. This is a major advantage, especially for machine rental companies like Eurosprzęt. The system also provides immediate information about malfunctions. Technicians can react quickly and bring the right spare parts to the construction site without inspecting the machine.

Everything at a glance
"With EquipCare, we have all the relevant information at a glance. It allows us to see, for example, how many engine hours the machine has worked per day and how many days per week," adds Dariusz Materna. All these features can be accessed easily and from anywhere via the web or app using a PC, tablet or smartphone. To further optimize work processes, EquipCare can also be integrated into existing IT solutions and also provides information on whether the machinery is equipped as required and what the optimum machine planning looks like.

EquipCare is on the rise.
